King Charles will host French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte for a State Visit from July 8th to July 10th. The guests will stay at Windsor Castle, with key events such as the State Banquet taking place at Windsor too, due to the current refurbishments at Buckingham Palace.
In September 2023, the King and Queen undertook a State Visit to France, one of the first since they ascended the throne. The last State Visit to the UK from France was in March 2008. President Sarkozy and Madame Nicolas Sarkozy were the guests of Queen Elizabeth II, at Windsor Castle.
