Loose Women star Coleen Nolan was beaming with pride as she posted a new photo on Instagram alongside her son, Jake Roche. The 60-year-old gushed as she revealed the singer-turned-comedian performed at the “iconic” Bill Murray pub.

Jake famously followed in his mother’s footsteps and ventured into the music industry with his chart-topping band, Rixton. The pop group found success with their debut single, Me and My Broken Heart, which reached number one on the UK singles chart and charted internationally. The group went on a four-year hiatus, returned in 2019 as Push Baby, and then parted ways in 2022. Since then, Jake has embarked on comedy with his own stand-up show, Neporrhoids.

Taking to Instagram, Coleen posed alongside the 32-year-old, who towered over her as they shared a heart-warming embrace for the photo.

The TV star gushed as she captioned the post: “My heart is FULL tonight, I am beyond proud of my son @jakeroche who played the iconic @billmurraypub with his one man show @neporrhoids.”

Fans who were also impressed by the show took to the comments with praise, as one penned: “Having saw the show in Edinburgh, I can absolutely understand how you are beaming. It blew my mind, as did Jake, so talented.”

Another echoed: “My heart sings whatta guy whatta show you boy sure does have talent.”

Coleen welcomed Jake with her ex-husband and EastEnders star Shane Richie, alongside their eldest son, Shane Jr, 36, before their divorce in 1999.

She then gave birth to a daughter, Ciara, in 2001 with musician Ray Fensome. The pair got married in 2007 but ended up divorced 11 years later.
