Severance enthusiasts have been in a frenzy trying to unravel the show's enigmatic concept of 'revolving' on Apple TV+. The theory ignited discussions on Reddit after Michael Siberry's character, Jame Eagan, intriguingly told Helly, played by Britt Lower: "One day you will sit with me at my revolving."

Fans speculate that this could hint at a consciousness transfer into another body via the chip, reminiscent of The Twilight Zone's episode The After Hours, which also inspired the penultimate episode title of Severance's second season.

In the 1960s episode, mannequins take turns living as humans, suggesting a parallel where former Lumon CEOs might 'revolve' using similar technology. Adding to the intrigue, the Severed Floor's Perpetuity Wing eerily mirrors the department store storage floor from The Twilight Zone, housing models of past CEOs like lifeless mannequins.

Marc Geller, who portrays Kier Eagan on Severance, commented on the swirling theories in an exclusive interview with the Irish Star, saying: "I've seen his consciousness is in Jame, it's in the mannequin, it's the Board, I've seen a lot of these theories."

Actor Marc Geller, who plays Kier, has expressed his thoughts on the theory, stating: "I have no knowledge whatsoever. I couldn't tell if I did, but I really don't have any knowledge. I hope one or all of those are true. That would be great. Anything that certainly brings him on the show more, I'm in favour of."

However, this theory has a significant flaw: Kier's death occurred in 1939, long before the Severance chip procedure was invented. Geller pointed out: "Ms. Cobel invented the procedure, she wouldn't have even been alive yet."

This raises questions about the possibility of Kier's consciousness being extracted and implanted into a chip. While it may seem far-fetched, the world of Severance has already explored unconventional ideas, such as the possibility of human consciousness being implanted into animals, like the Lumon goats.

Regarding Kier's character, Geller said: "As an actor, I don't see him as evil just because it's really hard to play someone you see as evil. I have to find the things I like about him. We don't know everything about him, even I don't."

He added: "Kier would have died prior to the Severance chip procedure being invented, so if that's the part that's conceived as evil then he wouldn't have even been around for that.

"I have to approach it from the aspect of: Kier started the company to help people alleviate pain, so that's where I'm coming from with it."

Reflecting on his aspirations for Kier's character development in Severance, Geller expressed: "That is certainly on my wishlist. There have lot of things online, people have been posting about origin episodes or things like that. That, of course, would be my wish come true but if they do anything like that.

"They could do flashbacks, they could dreams, they could do visions. There's certainly the potential even though I'm dead."

Adding: "I really hope that happens but I have no knowledge if it will or not. That's all in [Severance creator] Dan Erickson's mind and [director] Ben [Stiller's] hands, so we'll see in season three. My fingers are crossed."
