Meghan Markle has offered her fans a rare glimpse of life inside her multi-million-pound mansion as she posted a relaxing photo of herself sitting in her garden in Montecito, California. Sitting comfortably in a wicker chair, with her back facing the camera, the Duchess of Sussex posted a snapshot of her facing a luscious, green lawn.

In front of her is a table with a breakfast spread, including croissants, French bread, an assortment of berries, and her famous raspberry spread. There is also a bowl of fresh berries on the table, as well as napkins and cutlery. In the picture, you can clearly see camera wires, indicating that filming has just taken place, or is about to start. Meghan and Prince Harry's dog, Mia, also features in the photo. The Sussexes adopted the nine year-old pup two-years ago from a group of dogs rescued from a facility in the US. They named her Mamma Mia, or Mia for short.

Meghan has captioned the post: "This is our week @aseverofficial BTS from the shoot at my house (Hi Mia!)"

Also on Meghan's Instagram page for her brand 'As Ever', is a new post of the Duchess picking home-grown carrots from the soil, with the caption: "A fresh start to the week."

On March 30, Meghan posted on Instagram as she marked Mother's Day and offered another glimpse into her private life with Prince Harry and their two children Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.

While Mother's Day in the United States falls in May, the Duchess of Sussex was every bit the devoted mum as she honoured the UK holiday.

Meghan shared a styled image of what appeared to be a homemade citrus pie, garnished with vibrant slices of lemon and topped with a delicate edible flower.

"Our family tradition. Mothering Sunday in the UK," Meghan captioned the photo. Since launching her Instagram page at the start of 2025, Meghan has offered glimpses into her home life, sharing images of baked goodies, and moments in the sunshine state.

There have also been candid snaps of Archie and Lilibet helping to bake cookies, crafting decorations and helping their mum as she prepared for her Netflix show 'With Love, Meghan'.

The eight-part Netflix show 'With Love, Meghan' saw Meghan sharing cooking, gardening and hosting tips with friends and famous guests at a rented California estate.

The Duchess of Sussex's home and cooking series is returning for Season two in autumn.
