For some families, a Disney visit every couple of years is a must-do, while others just take the trip occasionally. Whatever type of family you're from, you'll likely be looking to find the cheapest time to make the trip. With this in mind, travel experts at AttractionTickets.com have revealed the best weeks to visit Walt Disney World Florida and Disneyland Paris this summer.
The experts have analysed crowd data, seasonal trends, and school holiday schedules to identify the key dates that offer a more relaxed and cost-effective park experience for Brits travelling to Disney this summer. So you'll still be able to give any lucky children the perfect summer holiday without breaking the bank
For those heading to Disneyland Paris, the experts recommend visiting between Tuesday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 8 which should give you time to enjoy the park before the summer holiday rush hits just a few weeks later.
Oliver Brendon, CEO of AttractionTickets.com explained: "In France, summer holidays run throughout July and August, meaning Disneyland Paris can be very busy during this period.
"However, early July, particularly weekdays from the 1st to the 8th, tends to be quieter as the school break has only just begun."
He further added that even a weekend visit over this time can make a significant difference in wait times and overall enjoyment while visiting the park.
August is the best time to visit Florida's Walt Disney World this summer, according to Oliver, as he explains: "August sees a noticeable dip in crowds in Walt Disney World Florida, particularly from mid to late August, as most American schools have already resumed by then.
"We know that Walt Disney World bases their ticket prices on overall market demand, so with fewer US families on holiday themselves, this period tends to have the cheapest tickets of the year and offers shorter wait times for a more enjoyable park experience."
He further highlighted that this year, a 14-Day Magic Walt Disney World ticket covering all six parks can be cheaper than a 14-Day Universal ticket covering all of their four parks - so August really is one of the most affordable times for Disney fans to explore the park.
Finally, Oliver predicted that August 20 and 21 are likely to be the two quietest days of the season - although those visiting from the UK should be mindful that Florida’s summer temperatures and humidity peak during this time, so staying hydrated and planning indoor breaks is essential.
