Balmy weather looks set to continue as temperatures in the UK could reach 20C in days. New weather maps compiled by WXCharts show large areas of the country could see temperatures in the high teens on April 9 at 6pm as Britons begin to enjoy longer evenings and better weather.
London and the south-east of England is expecting to see temperatures of between 17C-18C, with East Anglia is to enjoy some warm weather up to 17C. Much of the Midlands is expected to be between 16C-17C, while England’s north-east is expected to get the best of the weather. One area of East Yorkshire is set to see highs of 20C, while the rest of the Yorkshire county can expect lows of 17C.
The warm weather is expected to continue further north, with temperatures of up to 19C in the north-east. Manchester could also see temperatures reach 19C.
England’s west coast, however, is expected to be cooler with forecasts for the north-west and south-west coast in the lower teens.
Scotland could see highs of 19C, particularly around Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, while in Sutherland it could reach 18C.
