Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow has been accused of mocking Meghan Markle's new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan. The Oscar-winning actress, 52, who herself transitioned from acting to running the wellness brand Goop, posted a clip of herself making scones, bacon and eggs in her own kitchen to her social media account on Saturday.

She captioned her video: "My cleaner take on a classic breakfast: gluten-free buttermilk biscuits, not-so-perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, and crispy bacon #boyfriendbreakfast." In the comments, fans picked up that the star seemed to be mimicking elements of Meghan's series, including the actress showing off her jam and the clip featuring her pet dog.

Gwyneth also used the soundtrack of This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole, which also features in Meghan's project and flaunted a monogramed mug similar to the one the Duchess used in her show.

Fans commented as they threw shade at Meghan, with one writing: "Hi @gwynethpaltrow - would you be a dove and pop by Meghan’s place to show her how it’s done? Kthxbai."

Another added: "Lol isn't it this the song they keep using in the Meghan Markle promo?" To which a fan replied: "Yep, love it .. Gwyneth is so genuine what a breath of fresh air compared to Markle."

Previously, Gwenyth revealed she hasn't watched Meghan's series despite its comparisons to her own Netflix show, The Goop Lab. She is unthreatened by the competition and instead says she feels compelled to defend women who face criticism in the public eye.

She said: "I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes. I think there's always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try. Another woman is never your competition...what is right for you will find you."

The star is a neighbour to Meghan and Prince Harry as they live in the coastal California town of Montecito. She recently shared her thoughts on her Sussex neighbors, revealing that she hasn’t had a chance to develop a close relationship with them since they moved into the neighborhood back in 2020.

Gwyneth shared: “I don’t know Meghan and Harry. I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all.” She added: “Maybe I’ll try to get through their security detail and bring them a pie.”
