Meghan Markle was seen "rolling her eyes" at her mum Doria Ragland in an awkward moment during a new interview. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, officially unveiled her new website, asever.com, on Wednesday.
In a new article for the New York Times, food reporter Julia Moskin described the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Montecito home - which did not feature in her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. Ahead of the release of As Ever, Ms Moskin was shown one of Meghan's much-loved recipes, Chantilly Lili - which is also named after her three-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet.
Moskin wrote: "To finish the pudding, she got out the hand mixer to make Chantilly cream the vanilla-spiked, sweetened whipped cream that would give the dessert its name: Chantilly Lili, after the 3-year-old redhead who had just arrived home."
Speaking of Meghan's mum, who was also present, she added: "Ms Ragland said she still wasn’t convinced that she needed a hand mixer of her own; she has a KitchenAid stand mixer at home in Los Angeles."
She added, "The duchess rolled her eyes at her mother, as daughters do."
Meghan - who is also mum to five-year-old Prince Archie - was then quoted saying, "My mom still has Grandma Jeanette’s cast-iron skillet. That’s what I really want."
Within one hour of her launching the website, Meghan's products completely sold out - with Meghan taking to Instagram to share her gratitude to the special moment.
Alongside of a picture of Meghan, which was taken by Adam Amengual courtesy of NYT Cooking, she wrote: "Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full!
"We sold out in less than one hour and I can’t thank you enough… for celebrating, purchasing, sharing, and believing. It’s just the start @aseverofficial [party-popper emoji] Here we go!"
While many fans were able to get their hands on the products - including flower sprinkles, crepe mix and various spreads - others are already asking for a restock as they missed out on getting any products.
