If you’re looking to add a new anti-ageing skincare product to your routine, we’ve found a trending moisturiser that shoppers claim helps brighten, hydrate, and smooth out wrinkles. To top it off, the cult product is now on offer.  Korean skincare has been trending on social media for some time, with influencers hailing its ability to create glowy skin.

Hailing from Korea, the Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream was only made available to buy in the UK in the last year, but it’s part of a surge in popularity for K-Beauty, as the trend is known. One of the reasons the beauty craze is so popular is because many of the products contain natural ingredients traditionally used in Korea but that aren’t easy to find in western skincare. 

The Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream currently has 20% off at Beauty Bay, slashing the price from £21 to £16.70. It’s also on sale for £16.75 at Lookfantastic, or £18.90 at Boots. So it’s the cheapest at Beauty Bay right now.

Shoppers have given the moisturiser a high rating at all three retailers, but one Boots review in particular described the results of using the cream on mature skin. A Boots shopper said: “I am 47 with oily [and] dry combination skin. I am using the Dynasty cream and Glow Serum and Glow Replenishing Rice Milk, for two months now and I can feel my skin [is] more elastic, brighter and really soft. Definitely the best brand for my skin.” [SIC]

The brand says that the luxurious texture is specifically designed to hydrate dry skin deeply, and it is suitable for all skin types.

The Dynasty cream uses natural ingredients, including rice bran water, a moisturising and exfoliating ingredient made from the outer layer of rice, and ginseng water, which can help improve lines, wrinkles and elasticity. The cream also contains squalane, which seals in water for hydration, and niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3 that can target redness and combat signs of ageing.

A Beauty Bay shopper praised the cream's anti-ageing effects, saying: “I have been using this cream before I go to bed as my skin felt dry. After the first use, my skin felt soft, and after a few days, it started looking smooth. Small wrinkles on my forehead seem to be smoothing out. Also received very fast delivery.”

However, another added a mixed review, commenting: “Overall I like it. It is very moisturising but leaves kind of a sticky finish that takes ages to sink in. I just use it at night now. I like the price point and clean ingredients.”
