David Beckham and Victoria Beckham's sons, Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham, are reportedly at loggerheads. The brothers, who are the eldest children of the famed couple with siblings Cruz, 20, and Harper, Seven, 13, have had a tightly knit bond over the years, but now there is speculation of a rift between them.

This has come to light, particularly as Brooklyn, 26, and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30, have missed out on key family gatherings. Romeo, 22, who is in a relationship with Kim Turnbull, 23, appears to be at the core of the sibling silence, with insiders sharing with TMZ that this discord grew from a past fling Brooklyn allegedly had with Kim - though they claim "that's all water under the bridge." Brooklyn, now devotedly married to Nicola, finds himself amid rumours that "the issue at hand is the couple questions whether Kim has the right intentions in dating Romeo." Adding fuel to the fire, Romeo recently shared an Instagram photo showing the Beckham clan but conspicuously excluding Brooklyn and Nicola.

Alongside him were his girlfriend Kim and Cruz's partner Jackie Apostel, all celebrating father David's 50th birthday bash, reports the Mirror.

"Family is everything," Romeo captioned the post, giving shoutouts to each member. "Love you all."

Yet, the absence of Brooklyn and Nicola was telling, leaving fans puzzled and prompting queries on David's own post about the whereabouts of the pair.

Fans were left scratching their heads as one user queried: "And Brooklyn and Nicola?" While another mirrored the sentiment with the similar: "Where is Brooklyn and Nicola? Very weird." [sic]

This isn't the first occasion that Brooklyn and Nicola have been conspicuously missing from high-profile gatherings. Just last month, the duo was noticeably absent from Victoria's show at Paris Fashion Week.

As David Beckham approaches his landmark 50th birthday in May, celebratory events are already in full swing. David kicked off the festivities in Miami on Monday, and notably, his eldest son Brooklyn was not in attendance.

Also gracing the A-list celebration were David's longtime companions Gabe Turner, David Gardner, and Ben Winston, whom David reverently referred to as "friends for life" in a warm-hearted social media update.
