When the young royals are mentioned, often Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis spring to mind, as well as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet - the children of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However, there are in fact several other young royals who are equally adorable, but not so well known.

The Prince and Princess of Wales's children George and Charlotte used to attend the posh south London school Thomas's Battersea, a co-educational school, which has a theatre, a gymnasium, a ballet room, pottery room, along with two libraries, an Astroturf and a rooftop playground. Prince George began his school career there in 2017.

One of George's former classmates was Maud Elizabeth Daphne Marina Windsor - his third cousin once removed and a distant royal with a mum with very famous connections. Maud's mum is TV actress Sophie Winkleman, now Lady Frederick Windsor after marrying Lord Frederick Windsor.

George attended St Thomas's from 2017 until September 2022. The private South London prep school currently costs up to £27,800 annually for children up to age 13, according to termly fees on its website.

The royal's distant cousin's mum is a former actress and is perhaps most well known for playing the character Big Suze in Peep Show. Lord Frederick, however, is King Charles's second cousin, while his father is Prince Michael of Kent.

Maud Windsor was born on August 15, 2013, in Los Angeles, California - just a few weeks after her distant cousin Prince George. She was born in the US as that is where her mother was working at the time.

Her first name is after Queen Maud of Norway, who was a daughter of King Edward VII, and Elizabeth is in honour of the late Queen. Her other middle name, Daphne, is after Sophie’s beloved grandmother and Marina was the name of Lord Frederick’s grandmother, Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark.

Little Maud has a younger sister named Isabella Alexandra May Windsor who also shares a very close relationship with her royal cousins.

Maud was once pictured next to Princess Charlotte when they both served as bridesmaids at Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank on October 12, 2018.

In a previous interview with Hello! Magazine, Sophie gave details on how close the royal cousins are: "We were invited to tea at Kensington Palace just before Princess Charlotte was born.

"Maud and George got on very well… He is a very clever, articulate little boy and was speaking long before other toddlers his age."

George, Charlotte and their younger brother Prince Louis, all currently attend Lambrook, an independent preparatory school in Berkshire.
