Chilling new footage has emerged, revealing the latest chapter in a spiralling gang war on UK streets, with the shadowy culprits now seemingly branding their arson campaign with a gang moniker.
The distressing video captures a severe recent fire attack on a residential road in Edinburgh, executed before sunrise on Friday, April 4. This marks the second such assault on Hay Drive in Niddrie, following a similar incident in recent weeks.
The gang chaos has reportedly now spilled over into Glasgow, with masked attackers also setting two homes ablaze. In one instance, footage obtained by EdinburghLive depicts a masked individual dousing a house's front step in liquid from a jerry can.
One of the assailants then throws an object at the door, igniting the liquid and engulfing the entrance in flames. The perpetrators then make a swift exit from the scene as the fire starts to devour the property.
Another video shows a person crouched outside a home on Hay Drive, launching a flaming object through a window, sparking a massive inferno within the premises.
The footage ends with a stark warning aimed at Mark Richardson, a jailed cocaine baron who is reportedly the focus of these fire attacks, and his associates. The cryptic sign-off "Tamo Junto," a Brazilian Portuguese phrase translating to "we're together" or "we're in this together", accompanies the video.
The chilling message inscribed warns: "We are urging everyone in Scotland on the streets and those incarcerated to join us in the fight against Mark Richardson and the Daniels family.
"These rats have been thieving for a long time. It's time for people to stand together as one and remove this vermin from our streets. Tamo Juncho."
A sinister emblem featuring a fanged skull with the saltire, crossed by two guns, and the words "TMJ 2025" concludes the video, suggesting the gang's moniker or catchphrase.
Authorities confirmed that a deliberate arson attack occurred on Hay Drive at approximately 1.20am on Friday, tragically spreading to an adjacent house and dragging innocent bystanders into the aftermath of the spiteful onslaught.
The police stated: "While we believe this was a targeted attack, the fire has spread to a neighbouring property and the consequences could have been far more serious.
"Our enquiries suggest this incident is linked to groups who are actively targeting each other but we understand this will be concerning for the local community."
Another brazen act caught on camera outside Kelvinside Motor Company on Milton Road in Glasgow shows the bold offenders seemingly setting a vehicle ablaze with a lit object in the garage's parking lot.
Sources told Edinburgh Live: "This new group is like the equivalent of the Scottish mafia. Anyone I know who sells drugs isn't really interested in violence and wants to remain low key.
"These guys seem to be like a cartel or mafia organisation with the level of violence and videos they're releasing."
