Meghan Markle posted a serene video on her Instagram stories on March 23 to share a video of a large group of birds flying together - also known as a murmuration. The sweet video was captured by Prince Harry who Meghan referenced, as she captioned the clip "Flying into the week with my family. Thanks H for capturing this", alongside a red heart.
A child can be heard exclaiming, "Wow!" in the footage, as well as the sound of children playing, which could be the couple's two young children - Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
Just hours prior to the post, Markle shared other Instagram Stories to capture her Sunday activities which included her friend Kelly McKee Zajfen whipping up a banana split dessert. Markle wrote, "When one of the besties reinvents a banana split for breakfast,", before tagging her friend and her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Meghan herself appeared in one of the three Instagram stories, cutting up a slice of the dish and saying cheers to her friend, who has also appeared in Meghan's Netflix show 'With Love, Meghan'.
The Duchess of Sussex has mostly used Instagram as her way of promoting her cooking series sharing clips of herself and friends baking cookies, with the occasional appearance from her two children getting involved with the fun.
This comes as PR and social media expert, Caitlin Jardine, at Ellis Digital, told GB News: "Since her departure from royal engagements we have already seen a shift to a more lifestyle brand, her Netflix show is just one example of the media opportunities that have come her way."
The expert added: "She should continue to get involved with these to keep her audience engaged, and use a strong digital presence to remain transparent about her life but without seeming that it is an overly calculated or coming from a place of insincerity."
Meghan has also taken to Instagram to share some of generic recent cooking antics - including ones with her two children.
Princess Lilibet joined her mum in making some Valentine's Day treats for the family last month. The three-year-old can be seen applying the pink cream to the bagels. Earlier this week, Meghan shared that she had made St Patrick's Day-inspired green waffles for Lilibet and Prince Archie.
Earlier this month, Markle told People Magazine that her and Prince Harry indulge in "nightcap recaps," as they maintain connection amid their busy schedules.
Referring to a family ritual which involves debriefing about their day over a drink, Markle added that it typically takes place while the pair pack lunch boxes for their children. She explained: "I think all parents in this phase with kids the same age know it’s rinse and repeat."
As they enter a new phase of life together, Meghan also explained how it feels like her and Prince Harry have hit an ideal balance. She said: "I imagine that it’s the same as it would be for any couple. You have your individual jobs, but then you have things that you share together."
