A Primark store was taped off on Monday evening after a woman, 60, died following a medical episode. The incident happened in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

Paramedics and police were called to branch on Market Place on Monday evening following concerns for the woman's welfare.

Witnesses reported seeing that a woman had fallen ill while inside the branch, Manchester Evening News reports.

A cordon was established while emergency services responded to the incident. An air ambulance rushed to the scene and landed on a nearby carpark, and North West Ambulance Service paramedics also attended, as per the outlet.
