King Charles and Queen Camilla are not only enjoying a day of royal engagements in Rome today, but they are also celebrating a very significant milestone. The King, 76, and Queen, 77, have been married 20 years today, and seem to be more in love than ever.

To celebrate their anniversary, the couple have already taken to official Royal Family social media accounts to share a video of them over the years. The sweet clip, which has the song How Sweet It Is by James Taylor playing in the background, shows a number of pictures and videos of the couple over the years dating back to their 2005 wedding day. The video is captioned with the words: “20 Happy Years!”

As well as royal fans having flocked to wish the couple a happy anniversary, it is likely that other senior royals will have sent their congratulations and best wishes.

However, it is not known whether the King’s youngest son Prince Harry, 40, who quit royal life in 2020, will send his father and Queen Camilla a congratulations message.

Harry last saw his father in February last year after he became aware that the King had been diagnosed with cancer.

It is not known when the Duke last saw Queen Camilla, with Harry having been less than complimentary of his stepmother in his 2023 bombshell memoir Spare, claiming that he and Prince William begged their father not to marry her. Prince Harry is currently in the UK this week for court hearings as he seeks to overturn the February 2020 decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that he should receive a different degree of state-funded security when in the UK. Harry has flown in from his home in California for the hearing, with his final day in court set to be today.

However, the duke will not see his father or Camilla during his brief stay in the UK as the couple are currently in Rome, Italy, for a four-day state visit.

When asked yesterday by a reporter outside the London court whether he had spoken to his father, Harry ignored the question.
