If you fancy having your Easter meal out in the garden, it looks like the weather will be in your favour. Netweather predicts up to 22C on Easter Sunday, and WX Charts maps reveal four days in a row of warm temperatures. The maps have predicted that the heat surge will last from Saturday through to Tuesday.
The Netweather map predicts up to 22C around London, 20C in Southampton and up to 17C as far north as Scotland. WX Charts predicts warm and mild weather across the UK throughout the Easter weekend, including Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures reaching 16C in Scotland on Monday and highs of 16C to 18C expected around Birmingham, London, and Southampton and up to 19C forecast on Tuesday.
Southern and southeastern parts of England, particularly around London, will experience the highest temperatures though mild weather is also expected in other parts including in the midlands with 18C forecast, according to the Netweather map.
The map also predicts up to 15C as far north as the Scottish Highlands during the widespread warm spell on Sunday.
WX Charts also forecasts warm weather in the Midlands on Saturday, though it will be cooler in Scotland with a maximum temperature of 14C.
Much of southern England and Wales will remain within the 15-20C range from the Saturday right up until the Tuesday.
The Met Office's long-range forecast from Monday, April 14 - Wednesday, April 23, states that there will be "changeable" conditions with showers and longer spells of rain combined with sunnier spells.
The service adds that thundery showers could arrive in the south before passing to the east.
The Met Office adds: "This heralds a wetter period through the middle of April with showers or longer spells of rain at times, which could be heavy and thundery in places. Strong winds could develop in some areas, particularly the south and west. Temperatures are likely to return closer to normal."
