Seven out of 10 parents confess they're fretting over their kids spending the entire fortnight glued to their screens, estimating an average screen time of four hours daily. However, Railcard.co.uk has captured in a charming video what children truly wish to do this Easter.
In the heartwarming footage, youngsters at one of London's bustling stations reveal their Easter holiday wishes. One eager lad expressed his desire to visit his "favourite team's stadium - Old Trafford", while another little girl dreamt of visiting a "magical castle". Others mentioned quality time with grandparents or best friends as a top holiday pursuit.
The survey revealed that the average school child hopes to embark on six outings during the Easter break. Their ideal holiday bucket list includes riding a rollercoaster, day trips to castles or hunting for Easter eggs among the top activities they hope to tick off while school's out this Easter.
The study, involving 1,000 parents and children aged six to 15, found that 53% of adults also fancy a similar number of trips, citing it as a fantastic opportunity to create new memories.
For 52% of youngsters they love the Easter holiday as it gives them more opportunities to spend time with their family. Additionally, a over 82% view the school break as a great chance to venture into new areas of the UK.

A representative for the rail travel company said: "It's great to see that kids really want to spend time with their friends and family, rather than on a digital device during the school holidays."
For many children, hopping onto a train marks the start of an exciting adventure; statistics show that 37% of parents note their kids love train travel precisely for its adventurous feel right from the beginning.
Results from the railcard.co.uk survey revealed that for 31% of young ones, the train ranks as their top mode of transport. About 53% enjoy gazing out of the window at the landscape, while 34% are thrilled by the fast pace of the train.
Snacking and enjoying picnics aboard trains also emerged as another highlight for children. They appreciate the freedom to let their imagination run wild and they also enjoy spending quality moments with family members who are freed from the task of driving.
