Bargain hunters are hailing a Tesco meal deal as "insane" due to the incredible value - a Costa Coffee, Krispy Kreme doughnut, and a main course all for under £4.
Normally you'd fork out £1.99 just for a plain glazed Krispy Kreme, but savvy shoppers can grab this alongside their coffee and main as part of the thrifty combo - something which many shoppers are only just realising.
In a viral TikTok video from ellieannahawkes, she expressed shock, querying: "Is this a new thing? Why have I not known about this?" Many echoed her surprise, seemingly unaware of the offer until now.
Nancy exclaimed: "So you're telling me I can get a MAIN, a Krispy Kreme donut and a costa for £3.50? Let's not make other people aware of this...."
Rytis was equally enthusiastic, chiming in: "The costa + main + bakery item was already so good now KRISPY KREME? That's insane. Like thank you Tesco.", reports the Mirror.
Another user, Waffle, calculated the deals worth. They said: "So you can have a sweet breakfast + some crisps or fruit whatever and a coffee for £3.60."
Jules was keen to hop on board, suggesting to fellow fans: "Tesco meal deal tomorrow?"
Not all were sold, as Holly said: "This is a side but a pot of strawberry and kiwi is a main" complete with a tearful emoji.
Yas humorously anticipated a surge in consumption, joking: "Now we're gonna have a donut epidemic like the cinnamon rolls."
Tesco has now verified that both Costa Coffee and a plain Krispy Kreme doughnut are part of the basic and premium deals.
A representative clarified: "A single Glazed Original Krispy Kreme counts as a 'Snack' item in both the regular meal deal (£4/£3.60 with a Clubcard) and the Premium meal deal (£5.50/£5 with a Clubcard).
Without the Meal Deal offer, a single doughnut is priced at £1.99.
