Amanda Holden gave fans a behind the scenes glimpse into her downtime after filming her new quiz show The Inner Circle - and it turns out her favourite way to relax is more goofy than glam. The BBC show host, 53, took to Instagram to share a lighthearted video of herself reclining on a sofa while casually snacking on a banana.
In the clip she was dressed in a cosy grey dressing gown, and soaking her feet in a basin of water. Amanda groaned dramatically before jokingly telling the person behind the camera: "I've made it." The post was captioned: "This is what my inner circle currently looks like."
Followers soon responded to her video in an equally playful manner. One person told Holden: "Haha you're nuts but awesome," while another joked: "You can't beat a good banana." A third chimed in: "You funny you are. Happy Sunday."
The candid clip comes after an emotional moment for Holden during the latest episode of Britain's Got Talent. This Saturday Amanda was moved to tears during an impromptu audition that took place on the red carpet at the series 18 photocall.
The BGT judge was visibly touched when she arrived alongside Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, and Alesha Dixon, only to be met with an unexpected performance by the Pop Voices Choir from Shirley, West Midlands.
She turned to Simon in disbelief, asking, "Is this an audition?" before the choir powered through a stirring chorus that earned them thunderous applause.
An emotional Amanda branded the performance "absolutely gorgeous", adding: "I felt really tearful when you all started singing. What a massive surprise."
Alesha Dixon echoed the sentiment, calling it "a colourful, joyful burst of loveliness". Even Simon Cowell gave the singers a thumbs up and looked visibly moved.
The dramatic twist saw Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly step in to deliver an unprecedented six Yeses, sending the choir straight through to the next level of the competition.
Viewers were also touched by the choir's performance, and expressed their feelings on social media. One person gushed: "Now that's what you call a choir." Another agreed: "Such a unique way to audition on BGT regarding the Choir."
