Victoria Beckham could be on course to achieve the highest honour for a woman in the UK before her husband David is honoured according to one expert.
Victoria, 50, could be in the running for a damehood before David, 49, achieves a knighthood of his own.
In recent years, David has been repeatedly linked with becoming a knight of the realm but has repeatedly lost out and the distinction still alludes him.
Victoria, meanwhile, could be on track as her global star continues to rise and stay bright, according to brand and culture expert Nick Ede.
He told Hello!: “Victoria is in line to become a dame in the not-too-distant future, with her brand becoming synonymous with UK fashion and beauty and her flying the flag like previous fashion dames Vivienne Westwood, Anya Hindmarch and Zandra Rhodes.
“I think she may achieve the highest honour for women before David as she has shown herself to be such an inspiring businesswoman, extremely hard-working and a perfect ambassador for the UK.
"Her empire is going to reach the heady heights of over £100million in value in the next few years. She's on the way to surpassing huge brands like Kylie Jenner and Rihanna.
Nick’s comments came as another one of the Beckhams, Victoria and David’s son Brooklyn, quietly celebrated his third wedding anniversary to his wife Nicola Peltz.
Brooklyn, who has undertaken several attempts at a variety of careers in recent years, was allegedly blanked by some members of his family, including his parents, reports The Standard.
Brooklyn, 26, marked their third wedding anniversary publicly with posts on social media network Instagram, but the MailOnline noted that none of his immediate family appeared to like, share, or comment on any of them.
In said post, Brooklyn wrote: “Happy 3 year anniversary baby x I love you with all my heart x I’m so lucky I get to spend everyday with you and wake up to your beautiful face everyday you are my world x I love you so much Nicola xxxxxxx.”
Whilst this is not to suggest there are any issues between Brooklyn and his famous parents, it left fans asking a lot of questions about the present dynamic within the Beckham clan as their son tries to find his feet in a profession.
Recently, he tried his hand at motor-racing as part of a celebrity and influencer filled event organised by Formula E. Brooklyn and his father David reportedly share a love of motorsport, one which has left David concerned, reports the Express.
The former Manchester United star allegedly told his son to “be careful” whilst onboard one of the carbon fibre machines capable of accelerating faster than a contemporary Formula 1 car.
Nicola Peltz too, was concerned for her husband’s welfare. Speaking to the media after his session, Brooklyn said: She was a little bit worried. Then she saw me in my race outfit, and she was like, 'You should do this as a job. You look really good'.
"She was a little bit worried, but after I got out of the car, she was like, 'You look really sexy.' So, I might be changing careers.”
