Queen Camilla turned heads during the State Visit to Italy last week, where we saw her step out in a selection of breath-taking ensembles in Rome and Ravenna. The Queen carried out a series of public engagements, alongside her husband, King Charles, with the duo also celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary on the trip.
From a country woman to a global fashion icon, Camilla now often steps out in sophisticated and refined ensembles since she took on her role as Queen. She has grown into where life has taken her—and the clothes have also grown with her. However, she has remained loyal to her trusted designers, including the likes of Anna Valentine and Fiona Clare. The British creatives often dress her in timeless classics that feature modern and elegant silhouettes.
Camilla has embraced the fashion world and we saw her pay tribute to her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II – who favoured brooches with hidden meanings. The Queen also elevated her outfits with glittering jewels and trendy accessories. We loved that she paid a thoughtful tribute to the Italian fashion world, donning a Bottega Veneta design.
The Daily Express has all of her outfit details from her latest trip and ranked the ensembles.
Fiona Clare often incorporates colour into her designs, particularly pastel shades, and has been responsible for some of Camilla’s most poignant looks as Queen, including her first Trooping the Colour outfit as Queen. The Queen's lace gown featured a delicate scalloped neckline and a timeless mermaid silhouette. Camilla paired the look with stunning jewels, which included a necklace that belonged to her mother, Rosalind Sharp. She also was spotted carrying a chic designer clutch bag by Launer London.

We loved this eye-catching look. It was captivating but had the perfect balance of being sophisticated and understated. The Queen was easy to spot and stood out from the crowd, but she did not overshadow her husband at the glitzy reception that was held at Villa Wolkonsky for the British-Italian community, in Rome. Her look was created by one of her go-to designers, Anna Valentine. The British label was responsible for creating her wedding gown to King Charles, two decades ago. Her stunning ensemble featured a chic fit and flare design which is a style favoured by the Queen, and for this we ranked it in fourth place.
