Kaleb Cooper, famed for his role alongside Jeremy Clarkson in the hit show Clarkson's Farm, abruptly departed Diddly Squat Farm following a discussion with the television personality. The 26-year-old farm worker had become a fan favourite on the Amazon Prime series, which chronicles the former Top Gear host's foray into farming in the Cotswolds.
However, when Clarkson made a specific request, Kaleb felt compelled to leave.
It appears that Clarkson's request didn't sit well with Kaleb, prompting him to exit the farm and pursue other interests - specifically, more farming, albeit in a different setting.
Clarkson confessed to having an issue on his farm - he'd been accumulating too many items in anticipation of future need.
In a Sunday Times article, Clarkson noted that Kaleb shares this tendency towards hoarding. He explained that if you "Ask him to put something away [...] he acts like a seven-year-old who's been told to tidy his room".
Clarkson further revealed: "When I asked him to help me tidy the farmyard, he immediately got into his ugly pick-up truck and went for a weekend mini-break with his family in the Yorkshire Dales".
On April 14, Kaleb shared an Instagram post captioned: "End of a busy week of farming with a little bit more farming". While it might be assumed that he was farming at a new location, he was actually engaged in a virtual farming game - Farming Simulator 25.
Players of certain editions of Farming Simulator can immerse themselves in a digital rendition of the farm showcased on Clarkson's Farm.
In the comment section, fans were eager to join Kaleb in the game, with some playfully critiquing his farming "lines" depicted in a shared image. One fan enthused: "Love that, Kaleb, the best way to finish off the week 100% agree".
Another avid gamer shared their milestone: "Hit my 1000 hrs on Farming Simulator 19 today. Still a fantastic game!! Love this so much".
A fellow enthusiast revealed: "Love this. I still play Farming Simulator '22; there's a mod for a Chipping Norton map with Diddly Squat and also a mod for the Lamborghini tractor".
One commenter had a suggestion: "You need to get Jeremy to play with you. Lol start a Clarkson's farm in farm sim on YouTube".
Kaleb's venture into farming began at the tender age of 13, when he started helping out on a dairy farm. His agricultural path led him to work under Howard Pauling and later, alongside Jeremy.
