Emmerdale actress Daisy Campbell posed in the sunshine with her “little son” as she shared a life update away from TV. Daisy is best known for playing Amelia Spencer on the ITV soap, but was let go from the role in December 2024 after a long-running storyline with abuser Tom King, which saw her duped into a romance with him while her dad Dan was behind bars.

Eventually Amelia left the Dales with her biological dad Daz Spencer, who returned to collect her, and the pair moved to Leicester together with her daughter Esther. For actress Daisy, she didn’t have as much of a say in the matter, as it “wasn’t her choice” to leave. She explained at the time: “Being in Emmerdale is all I have ever known. I’ve spent the whole of my childhood growing up in the soap and it felt daunting."

She told Metro: “It feels really sad. It’s mixed emotions really. It’s been such a tough year, and I’ve had to deal with so much, but I was so at peace when leaving because I’ve grieved […] I’m not only grieving for myself, it’s a character that I’ve always played, this is my first ever job from being seven, so it felt really sad.”

Now Daisy looks refreshed in a series of Instagram snaps, wowing in a white puffball skirt and a grey sweatshirt as she headed on holiday to Slovakia. Posing with a black leather Coach bag under her arm, she added a pair of lace-up grey trainers to the ensemble and pulled her blonde hair back into a ponytail.

Close-up snaps revealed Daisy’s bright pink manicure and a small figurine attached to her handbag, which she labelled her “little son”. She captioned her snap simply: “Me and lil son.”

Fans rushed to comment on the slew of snaps, with her former co-star Katie Hill – who plays Sarah Sugden on Emmerdale – writing: “Pretty pretty pretty.” Someone else gushed: “Love her!” While another begged: “Beautiful, what’s your next project?”

“WOW so gorgeous,” another social media user gushed. And a fifth fan echoed: “That outfit is cute!”
