A crash on the M1 in Hertfordshire has led to traffic delays of up to an hour and five miles of congestion, National Highways said.
Two of the four lanes on the motorway northbound are closed between junction 8 at Hemel Hempstead and junction 9 at Redbourn. Police, the fire service, and the ambulance service are all at the scene.
