Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are set to reunite with a new Amazon Prime offering. The trio will be reuniting for The Not Very Grand Tour - a new show which comes months after they dissolved their professional partnership. Having been a household name for over decades, the TV stars rose to fame on Top Gear, but recently called time on their on-screen partnership. Dissolving their production company, Clarkson, May and Hammond went on one final adventure with Zimbabwe and Botswana on the Grand tour.

It has since been confirmed by Amazon, The Not Very Grand Tour, will see the trio again on-screen with the show being released on April 18. Details about the programme are scarce but a synopsis has been released for the first episode. It reads: "In this episode, the team celebrate the combustion engine, with a look back at footage from past adventures and test drives." Director Phil Churchward, who worked on The Grand Tour and Top Gear, will also return for the new show.

Jeremy, 64, previously opened up about their decision to call time on The Grand Tour.

He said: "Where I would have been emotional was saying goodbye to the crew because most of them started with us.

"There's a photograph taken on Kubu Island of Russ Edwards and Casper Leaver (Camera Operator) and Andy Wilman, who were there on the original crew, and they're still with us.

"You can’t say that about any other show.”

When quizzed about a potential reunion James explained: "I wouldn’t rule it out, but you do have to bear in mind that we’re all getting on a bit."

Richard told The Metro: "It will be carrying on. The Grand Tour continues.

"We’re stepping away as the hosts, but Prime will be continuing it. So I can’t wait to sit on my own chair and watch somebody else do it. That’s amazing.

"It’s not for us to shape it anymore. We’re stepping away. We made the show that we made."

The Not Very Grand Tour will be available to stream from April 18, 2025.
