Choosing a holiday destination can be tricky, because you want to see some of the most beautiful places in the world, but often they can be tourist traps where you’ll spend a fortune to be in the centre of stressful hustle and bustle.

One woman has shared her top “underrated” locations. However, she jokes that they’re all around one place, saying it’s “not a coincidence”.

“After travelling to 35 countries in Europe, here are some underrated places that you’ve probably never heard of,” Tee Travels wrote over the top of her video before revealing the locations she believes you must visit.

1. Datça, Turkey

Datça is a charming and tranquil destination that offers a perfect combination of natural beauty, rich history, and authentic local charm, making it an ideal holiday spot for those seeking a peaceful and immersive getaway.

The town’s atmosphere is laid-back and unspoiled by mass tourism, allowing visitors to experience the authentic culture and traditions of the region.

Nestled on a stunning peninsula in southwestern Turkey, it’s surrounded by the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas, offering breathtaking beaches and hidden coves.

2. Shala River, Albania
