Prince George could be set to make an appearance in celebrations to mark VE Day next month. George, who will turn 12 in July, may be set to join his parents and grandfather in at least on of the engagements for the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are already confimed to be two of four senior royals set to make an appearance next month. The couple will join King Charles and Queen Camilla - as well as the likes of Princess Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
The young prince, as well as his siblings Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, seven, could be set to join during the balcony on Monday, May 5. George, Charlotte and Louis last appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony to celebrate Trooping the Colour on June 15, 2024.
On May 5, the King and Queen, together with other members of the Royal Family and the Prime Minister, will join Second World War veterans to watch a military procession and flypast.
Their Majesties will then host a Tea Party for veterans and members of the Second World War generation at Buckingham Palace.
This will include British and Commonwealth Armed Forces veterans, WRENs, Special Operations Executives and those who contributed to the war effort on the home front, accompanied by their families and carers.
Following the procession, the Royal Family will then all head back to Buckingham Palace to watch a fly-past from the balcony.
The following day, on May 6, Queen Camilla will view a stunning new display of 30,000 ceremonial poppies at the Tower of London.
On May 8, the entire Royal Family will reunite again for a Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey. Here, King Charles will lay a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior. He will then be followed by Prince William.
Also, later that day, the King and Queen will attend a live celebratory concert from Horse Guards Parade. This will be presented by Zoe Ball.
