Giant plumes of smoke have been spotted billowing for miles above hills in Staffordshire.
Those watching wildfires in the area took to social media to share images of the incident.
One said: "Huge fire near #Buxton clearly visible from top of Buddulph Moor. The cloud is something else."
Witnesses say the fire broke out near Errwood reservoir in the Upper Goyt Valley late morning.
