Fans of Amanda Holden have heaped praise on the star after she turned up to her Heart Radio Breakfast Show wearing a tiered mini-dress made completely from £50 notes. The strapless frock, which was paired with a mini bag and hat made from the bills too, was designed by Grace Lane London to celebrate the fifth winner of Heart’s Make Me A Millionaire being crowned.
On Friday (May 2), Amanda, 54, entered the Heart Radio vault with Kieran Williams, a listener who turned down a cash prize of £6,000 earlier in the week. After rejecting the offer from Mark Wright, the Tamworth-based design engineer was given the chance to grab £1,000,000 with the Britain’s Got Talent judge.
After opening his safety deposit box with the £1million inside, Kieran vowed he’d be spending his cash on a family holiday to New York and to purchase an AAC device for his son, Alex, which will allow the non-verbal child to communicate with his friends. Kieran is the fifth person Heart has made a millionaire.
Ahead of the heartwarming moment, Amanda arrived at Heart HQ on board a private black jet with her dog, Minnie. The Kiss Me Kate star was pictured enjoying a flute on board the plane before standing beside a glossy red Ferrari.
The mother-of-two also posted a video to Instagram showing off her daring frock in the office. She was accompanied by designer Grace
