Meghan Markle and Gwyneth Paltrow appeared to have shut down rumours of a feud by appearing in an Instagram video together. Gwyneth, 52, recently uploaded a video via her account, to which Sussex fans accused her of mocking the former working royal and her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
Earlier this week, in a tongue-in-cheek video, Gwyneth asked a question posed to her by one of her fans, which read: "Are you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?"
Mocking the latest rumours of a feud, she said: "I genuinely do not understand this at all, whatsoever. Do you understand this?"
The video then panned to reveal Meghan, who was sat in a kitchen alongside Gwyneth. The royal then struggled her shoulders in response to the question.
Speaking on behalf of Genting Casino, body language expert Darren Stanton has shared that this video portrays the extent of their friendship very clearly.
Observing how "loose and relaxed" the pair appear, he added that "if it were all for show you would be able to see some tension and awkwardness there".
He then added: "It firstly demonstrates that you have two very strong women. They are happy to joke around with each other and their fans but also will be quick to stand up for themselves.
"Meghan's response shows that she is feeling more confident, comfortable and free. She isn't taking anything too seriously anymore. When she throws her hands up in the air in the video, her movements are very loose and relaxed.
"If it was all just for show you would be able to see some tension and awkwardness there.
"They clearly are friends, maybe not the best friends in the world but there is certainly not any beef there."
