Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have received another damming blow as royal fans voice that the UK "doesn’t want you". In an interview with BBC News, Prince Harry shared his fears over bringing his family to the UK.
The interview - which was was held close to the home that he shares with his family in California - took place after the 40-year-old lost a multimillion-pound fight for protection in the UK. Speaking to Nada Tawfik, Harry said that he "can't see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK".
A poll conducted by the Express, which ran between 6.30pm on May 3 and 12pm on May 4, 5,492 people cast their vote on whether they believe the couple should return to the UK.
In a damming result, 97 percent [5,304 votes] said that they think the couple should remain in the US and not return back to Britain.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, moved out of the UK with their son Prince Archie in 2020. Meghan and Harry have settled in California and have since welcomed a daughter named Princess Lilibet.
In contrast, just 3 percent [157 votes] shared that Meghan and Harry should return to the UK. In the 5,492 votes, 31 people also voiced that they weren't sure what the couple should do.
Taking to the comment section, one royal fan wrote: "There are not many people in the UK who really wants Harry and Meghan to come back here..."
Another wrote: "They [should] never return to this country ever." A third also commented: "No! We don't want him."
Clearly having voted 'no', another royal fan commented: "His wife [Meghan] will never come to the UK anyway, he’s lost his appeal here now with the Brits, we aren’t interested!"
Although Harry has returned to the UK numerous times since 2020, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet have not visited the UK since 2022.
