Prince William and Princess Kate delighted royal fans last night as they accompanied the King Charles and Queen Camilla, along with other senior royals, to a concert marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived at the royal box together on Thursday evening to watch the concert at London's Horse Guards Parade, and shared a sweet moment as they spoke with guests and veterans. Before taking to their seats, William, 42, could be seen placing a gentle reassuring hand on his wife’s back as she spoke to fellow concert attendees. The princess, 43, later replicated this loving gesture. The sweet moment was caught on camera, sending royal fans into a frenzy.
One fan wrote on X: “Prince William always attentive to his beautiful wife, Catherine!”
A second said: “The touch of love.”
Another fan commented: “Just a gentle touch, with a look of love.”
Princess Kate also sent fans into a frenzy with her outfit, opting to wear a white tweed jacket and a chiffon skirt from Self Portrait.
The princess accessorised this with pearl jewellery and a black bow in her hair which is believed to have been an adorable tribute to her daughter Princess Charlotte, 10, who often wears similar bows at royal events.
One fan wrote on X: “Oh she looks lovely! Adore the bow!”
Another said: “And just like that bows are back in style.”
The couple were not accompanied by their three children at the concert last night.
